Good to know before you buy
- These upgraded warranties only apply if a GAF-certified contractor installed the roof with qualifying GAF parts.
- Ask your roofer for the warranty certificate number.
- System Plus does not cover the roofer's workmanship; Silver and Golden Pledge do.
- Tell GAF within 30 days of noticing a problem.
- Labor is only covered in the first 10 years; after that payments shrink each year.
- If you buy a house, you must notify GAF in writing within 1 year to keep the warranty; it transfers only once.
