Kala warranty for guitars & basses
The short version
Kala doesn't cover everything, but keeps american-made models and whole instrument covered to 2 years. That full coverage is the same as most of the 9 brands we compared, which typically cover nothing in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.
From Kala's published warranty, checked October 2026.

The fine print, decoded
What it leaves out
- Accidental breaks and misuse
Good to know before you buy
- Covers the original buyer only and must be bought from an authorized Kala dealer. Keep your receipt.
- File claims through the dealer you bought from, not Kala directly.
- Damage from humidity, heat or dry climates is not covered; use a humidifier with solid-wood models.
- Only covers instruments bought and kept in the US or Canada; any modification voids it.
