Nike warranty for running & athletic shoes

15/100 Warranty ScoreRanked 3 of 12 brands
The short version

Nike doesn't cover everything, but keeps shoes covered to 2 years. That full coverage is the same as most of the 12 brands we compared, which typically cover nothing in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.

From Nike's published warranty, checked October 2026.

The fine print, decoded

What it leaves out

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches, dents and looks
Good to know before you buy
  • The 2 years count from the manufacture date on the product tag, not the date you bought it.
  • Keep a receipt showing the date, store, product name or style number, and price.
  • Nike does not give refunds through a claim; refunds come only from the store where you bought it.
  • Laces, insoles and spikes are not replaced, and items bought from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
