The short version
JELD-WEN doesn't cover everything, but keeps vinyl windows and patio doors and wood and clad-wood windows and patio doors covered for life. That full coverage is the same as most of the 11 brands we compared, which typically cover nothing in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.

- Lifetime vinyl coverage applies to owner-occupied single-family homes; otherwise it is 10 years.
- Coverage passes to a new owner only up to 10 years.
- Labor is only paid in the first 2 years.
- Third-party locks and handles are not covered by JELD-WEN.
