WEN warranty for generators & engines
The short version
WEN doesn't cover everything, but keeps commercial or professional use covered to 3 months. That full coverage is shorter than most of the 12 brands we compared, which typically cover 1 year in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.
From WEN's published warranty, checked October 2026.

The fine print, decoded
What it leaves out
- Normal wear and tear
Good to know before you buy
- Covers the original buyer only, and only if bought from WEN or an authorized seller (not a pawn shop or garage sale).
- Coverage ends at the model's time limit or 500 hours of use, whichever comes first.
- Used for commercial work, coverage drops to 90 days.
- WEN sends replacement parts for defects rather than a whole new unit.
