Good to know before you buy
- Buy from an authorized Yamaha generator dealer in the US for the warranty to apply.
- Tell an authorized Yamaha dealer about a problem within 10 days of noticing it and bring the generator in.
- Commercial use is also covered for 3 years, except the EF1000iS (2 years).
- If you buy it used, a Yamaha dealer must inspect and register it within 10 days to transfer the rest of the warranty.
