Apple covers laptops & computers in full for 1 year, with no partial coverage after that. That full coverage is longer than most of the 12 brands we compared, which typically cover nothing in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.

Good to know before you buy
- Keep your receipt: Apple asks for proof of purchase before warranty service.
- Batteries are only covered if they fail from a defect, not normal aging.
- Repairs by anyone other than Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider can void coverage.
