The short version
ASUS doesn't cover everything, but keeps battery covered to 1 year. That full coverage is the same as most of the 12 brands we compared, which typically cover nothing in full. You don't need to register to get this coverage.

Good to know before you buy
- The warranty length is printed on the label on the back of the laptop (for example 24M means 24 months).
- Keep your receipt: without it the warranty starts from the manufacture date.
- Accidental damage is not covered unless you bought ASUS Accidental Damage Protection.
- Damage from viruses, third-party software or crypto mining is not covered.
