- The warranty length depends on the model; it is printed on the box, or you can check it on Seagate's site with the serial number.
- Must be bought new from an authorized seller.
- Seagate sends a replacement, possibly refurbished, and keeps your old drive, so back up or wipe your data first.
- Lost data and data recovery are not covered.
